There's a Monster Out There It's Name? 

Have you wondered about your neighbor, friend, family member that has Lyme? Do you wonder where is it coming from? Lyme is the monster lurking outside your home, in the woods, on your pets that carry ticks into your home. Lyme is not an innocent bystander but a terrible disease that can and will if you let it destroy your life and way of life!

I am here on this Brand New Blog to try help all those suffering from this dreaded disease. It does not care WHOM you are, your walk in life, The money you make. It is NO RESPECTER of persons. Lyme can take anyone down, and it frequently does. This is my story and my journey to recovery and control from the symptoms that Lyme causes which make you FEEL like dying. I am just like you, or some of you... A mother of 5 children, a grandmother of 8. I am 49 years old and 4 years ago was The beginning of my Journey into the world of Lyme began with a TERRIBLE accident where my baby grandson was killed in a car accident, The stress from this TOTALLY broke my immune system which gave the Lyme that was "LURKING" in the tissues of my body it's chance, it took it. Unbeknownst to me I had been carrying Lyme spirochetes around for a VERY long time. I went from a fairly healthy women to completely blind sided and literally dropped to me knees from grief and TERRIBLE LYME SYMPTOMS. It started with extreme fatigue, severe headaches especially on the right side of my head, Swollen eyes. My ears HURT terribly (the one symptom I had had for years by the way). From there it spiraled downwards into the land of Lyme Hell. 

I started having Bells Palsy symptoms with the right side of my face dropping (We thought I had a brain tumor) These symptoms would come and go. I was scared but to grief stricken to want to deal with it. Then on top of it all my whole body started to ache with pain moving all over the place, I was in so much pain I could not sleep on my right side. I FINALLY had enough and went to the emergency room. Absolutely no help there! They took every test, scan whatever and NOTHING. My Lyme test at the hospital NEGATIVE no surprise there I learned later. I was sent home with a clean bill of health and told it was in MY HEAD! that is was GRIEF. Well I KNEW this was not in my head and not grief having lost my son and so I knew what GRIEF felt like and this sickness was NOT IT. Then I started getting SICK with flu like symptoms and they came and went by the calendar literally you could mark the calendar. Every 5 days I would get DEATHLY ILL, then start to feel better than get sick all over again. It was during this period that my daughter  Sarah told me about a friend of hers in college that had Lyme disease and that I HAD THE EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS! Of course at first I thought Lyme! They said my test was negative. But after much research I discovered that the current test is not very accurate and that I needed to find a doctor that knew something about Lyme. I was diagnosed with Neurological Chronic Lyme Disease and so began my journey as the Lyme "detective" researching and using MYSELF as the "test subject" I have tried many products and protocols and spent THOUSANDS of dollars testing what works and what does not.
